Wendy has lived most of her life in northeast Washington state, enjoying outdoor recreation such as hiking, backpacking, dogsledding and skijoring. After years of interest in massage, she moved to Portland in 2009 to attend Oregon School of Massage. She graduated in 2010, then worked briefly at a couple of small wellness businesses, as well as volunteering her massage under the Red Cross tent at the end of the Hood to Coast relay, and at the Relay For Life. She then spent some years giving massage within the Intel environment as a contractor for another company.
Now, she gets much satisfaction and reward working with the team of healthcare givers at Signature Health, helping people reduce their pain and regain functioning that is sometimes lost after an injury or accident. In her spare time her favorite activities these days are walking/hiking, competitive archery, and volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society.
